Job summary

TOPSERVE SERVICE SOLUTIONS INC is seeking a Sales Merchandiser to greet customers, answer questions, and provide outstanding service. The role involves stock handling, in-store promotions, and upselling to maximize sales.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, respond to questions, and provide outstanding service.
• Assist customers with returns, refunds, and complaints.
• Direct customers to merchandise and promote promotions and upsell where possible.
• Participate in in-store inventory counts and stock organization.
• Unpack and stock new merchandise, check for damages and mislabeling.
• Maintain an orderly and attractive sales floor with strong product knowledge.

Sales Merchandiser

greet customers on arrival then assist the customer with any questions they have about the purchase they want to make. They often help the customer with returns, refunds, and resolve common complaints.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandiser and providing outstanding customer service.
• Achieving established goals. Increasing in store sales.
• Directing customers to merchandise within the store.
• Participate in an inventory count of the store.
• Take merchandise that has arrived, unpack merchandise from the warehouse, check for damage or mislabeling, and get it where it needs to be.
• Must keep the shelves filled with products.
• Superior product knowledge.
• Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor.
• Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers.
• Cross-selling products to increase purchase amounts.
• Deliver excellent customer service that ensures ongoing sales and high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Work with customers to determine their needs and then recommend the right product to solve the customer’s problem.
• Assist in ensuring that the product presentation area is clean and organized.
• Develop and cultivate strong buying relationships with customers.
