Job summary

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) in the Philippines is seeking an entry-level intern to join the Clearance & Settlement Operations testing team. You will help with end-to-end testing activities, create and execute test scripts, and support risk management efforts while collaborating across multiple teams.

This role offers a hybrid work model (onsite 3 days, remote 2 days) and a focus on quality, process improvement, and hands-on learning within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Internship experience highly preferred or equivalent experience in a quality testing role.
• Familiarity with Agile processes and quality assurance practices.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop in-depth knowledge of the Business Operation to support testing for delivered products.
• Collaborate with internal teams and drive timely, high-quality results.
• Complete test scripts, report execution results, and raise issues impacting timelines.

The Impact You Will Have In This Role

Being a member of the team, the Clearance & Settlement Operations is responsible for the end-to-end processing of clearance and settlement activities across DTC, NSCC & FICC, ensuring the integrity and efficiency of U.S. financial markets. SCSO manages a wide range of functions—from real-time trade matching, netting, and settlement to exception handling, risk mitigation, physical processing and operational controls. The group also leads cross-functional initiatives such as project management, workflow enhancements, and operational risk review across business lines. Additionally, the team is responsible for the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Operational functionality within the C&S business lines at DTCC ensuring that defined quality standards are met. The UAT team should possess an in-depth knowledge of automated testing tools and quality control approaches including the ability to automate test scripts.

Your Primary Responsibilities

• Developing an in-depth knowledge of the Business Operation, in order to support the testing for t the products being delivered.
• Collaborating with internal collaborators; holding yourself accountable for successful project execution and measurable high-quality, timely results
• Completing test scripts and reporting on execution achievements, and raising issues and risks with the potential to affect project timelines
• Logging defects and collaborating with development and Modernization teams for quick resolution
• Presenting complex or technical information clearly and effectively to non-technical collaborators
• Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; brings up appropriately
• Executes on operational processes by following documented procedures and job aides while working at understanding and mastering knowledge of process.
• Takes ownership of workload, ensures deliverables met in line with procedures, metrics, and benchmarks; while adhering to critical timeframes; ability to manage competing priorities.
• Demonstrates effective communication skills, active engagement in meetings and displays a curiosity to learn and grow; accepts feedback given and applies to role.

Qualifications

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
