Overview

Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and readiness of an aircraft's interior and exterior between flights.

Responsibilities

• Interior Cleaning: Vacuuming carpets, cleaning seats, washing windows, and wiping down surfaces in the passenger cabin, galleys, and lavatories.
• Sanitization: Disinfecting high-touch surfaces like armrests, door handles, and restrooms to maintain hygiene.
• Trash Removal: Collecting and disposing of waste and trash from the aircraft, checking seat pockets for lost items, and ensuring the cabin is free of debris.
• Restocking: Replenishing aircraft supplies, such as blankets, pillows, magazines, and lavatory items, according to airline specifications.
• Maintenance Reporting: Reporting any damaged equipment, signs of maintenance needs, or safety issues to the appropriate management or team leader.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhering to all safety standards, regulations (including those from the Federal Aviation Administration), and company policies.
• Exterior Cleaning: In some cases, washing the exterior of the aircraft, including the body and windows.

Qualifications

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
