Overview
The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to follow cleaning protocols effectively. Cleaners are expected to perform routine and deep cleaning duties, ensuring that facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize all areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces.
- Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in designated areas.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness.
- Restock cleaning supplies and materials as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor.
- Ensure that cleaning products are used according to safety instructions.
- Maintain and ensure that cleaning equipment is in proper working order.
- Follow company cleaning policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles (preferred).
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting and moving objects.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Good communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
