Job summary

Chong Hua Health Services Inc. in the Philippines seeks a Claims (PHIC) Specialist I to process and submit PhilHealth benefits claims for patients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You will coordinate with the section team to gather required documents, verify eligibility, and maintain compliance with PhilHealth policies and submission deadlines.

This role provides exposure to healthcare billing operations, cross-functional collaboration, and growth opportunities in the PhilHealth claims domain.

Qualifications

• Graduate with degree in finance/accounting or related business field with accounting units.
• 0–3 years of experience in healthcare or related field.
• Proficient with MS Office 365; strong communication skills in local languages (Visayan/Tagalog).

Responsibilities

• Process and submit PhilHealth claims in accordance with policies.
• Submit required documents within the prescribed period.
• Coordinate with section staff as needed.

Job description

The Claims (PHIC) Specialist I processes and submits all PhilHealth benefits claims of patients in accordance with PhilHealth policies and procedures. S/He ensures submission of claims in a timely manner and submits all requirements including but not limited to supporting documents within the prescribed period.

In addition, s/he performs other duties as assigned by his/her immediate superior and is also responsible for coordinating with the applicable concerned persons in the section in the conduct of his/her duty.

Qualifications

• A graduate of bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or any business-related course with accounting units
• With 0 – 3 years of working experience
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus
• Demonstrated understanding of basic corporate office software, including Microsoft Office 365 applications.
• Effective communication skills. Proficiency in the Visayan dialect and/or Tagalog is required; ability to communicate well in English is an advantage
