Job summary

Ardent Paralegal and Business Solutions Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Claims Assistant (Claims Opener) to initiate insurance claims on behalf of clients and coordinate with insurance carriers.

You will document claim details in the case management system and ensure timely data entry while upholding confidentiality and compliance standards. The role requires strong English communication, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to follow established procedures in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Comfortable making outbound phone calls and interacting professionally with external parties.
• Proficient in using computers and learning new software platforms.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently while following established processes and procedures.
• Previous experience in customer service, administrative support, virtual assistance, insurance, legal support, or business process outsourcing (BPO) is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with insurance providers and other relevant parties to facilitate the claims initiation process.
• Gather, verify, and maintain accurate claim-related information and documentation.
• Ensure timely and accurate data entry into internal systems and databases.
• Support the preparation and processing of claim-related correspondence and records.
• Review information for completeness and follow up on discrepancies or missing details as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure claims are handled efficiently and in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold accuracy, quality, and compliance standards in all assigned tasks.
• Perform other administrative and claims support duties as assigned.
