POSITION OVERVIEW

This role will be responsible for leading the development of detailed civil works designs and 3D models for infrastructure and site development projects. The role focuses on subsurface utility design, roadworks, and surface modeling, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with project requirements and international standards, particularly Danish regulations.

Working closely with multidisciplinary teams and international stakeholders, the Structural Designer will play a key role in delivering high-quality design outputs from concept through detailed design stages. This position requires strong technical expertise in civil design software, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with global project teams to meet timelines and quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the design and modeling of subsurface utility systems, including drainage networks, sewer systems, and electrical ducting, ensuring accuracy and constructability.
• Develop detailed civil works designs such as site grading, earthworks, surface modeling, and road alignments in accordance with project requirements and technical standards.
• Prepare 3D models, drawings, and design documentation using industry-standard software, ensuring alignment with project specifications and timelines.
• Coordinate closely with international stakeholders, particularly Danish project teams, to ensure design intent, standards, and deliverables are met.
• Review and validate design outputs to ensure compliance with Danish codes, regulations, and client-specific requirements.
• Perform quantity take-offs, basic design calculations, and support in cost estimation where required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., structural, MEP, and BIM) to ensure seamless integration of civil works within overall project designs.
• Participate in project meetings, provide technical inputs, and address design-related queries from internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure proper documentation, version control, and adherence to company quality standards and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Licensed Civil Engineer is an advantage but not required.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of relevant experience in civil works design, preferably in infrastructure or international projects.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley OpenRoads Designer for design and modeling.
• Experience working with European or international design standards (preferably Danish standards) is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of site development, road design, drainage systems, and utility coordination.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows and coordination tools is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with global teams.
• High level of attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
