Job summary

SMEC (an SJ Group company) is seeking a Civil Engineer with strong experience in transportation infrastructure to join our Manila team. You will work on planning, design, and engineering of roads, bridges, and related projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and clients.

You should bring a degree in civil or structural engineering, and a professional license is a plus. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MIDAS, STAAD, ETABS will help you contribute to high-quality designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Licensed Civil Engineer is an advantage.
• Experience in planning, design, and engineering of roads, highways, bridges, or transportation infrastructure.
• Knowledge of relevant engineering codes, standards, and design practices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MIDAS, STAAD, ETABS, or similar tools.
• Experience in detailed design, design review, engineering analysis, or preparation of technical reports and drawings is preferred.
• Familiarity with multidisciplinary project coordination and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Willingness to support projects across various locations as required.
