Job summary

ARKY Construct is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee the technical and engineering aspects of construction projects in the Philippines. You will ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and per approved plans and schedules.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, PRC licensure, and at least 3 years of construction experience. Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD is preferred, with travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC) preferred/required depending on project.
• At least 3 years of relevant construction experience.
• Experience in building, infrastructure, road, or other civil construction projects is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, plans, specifications, and project documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD and construction/project management software is an advantage.
• Willing to conduct regular site visits and travel to project locations.
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the technical aspects of construction projects.
• Review plans, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
• Monitor project progress, quality, materials, and construction activities.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve engineering issues encountered on site.
• Supervise and coordinate Site Engineers and other technical personnel.
• Prepare and review progress reports, quantity measurements, estimates, and other project documentation.
• Monitor project schedules and identify potential delays or technical issues.
• Assist in the preparation and evaluation of variation orders and additional works.
• Ensure that construction activities comply with approved plans, specifications, safety requirements, and applicable standards.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate corrective actions when necessary.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical updates to management and clients.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams regarding project material and equipment requirements.
• Perform other engineering and project-related duties as assigned by Management.
