Job summary

CareCone Group seeks a Sr. Solution Architect to lead end-to-end design and implementation of Citrix-based enterprise workplace services across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments in Metro Manila, Philippines.

You will partner with clients, project managers, and technical teams to deliver scalable, secure Citrix solutions and drive migration from legacy environments. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of IT experience, 5+ years in Citrix architecture/engineering, and holds Citrix

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Information Technology with 10+ years of progressive IT experience.
• 5+ years hands-on Citrix architecture and engineering experience.
• Citrix and Virtualization certifications required.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server administration and Active Directory.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and hybrid cloud architectures (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Solid understanding of networking concepts: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, SSL, VPN, load balancing, firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to finalize design requirements and complete technical solutions, including work breakdown, pricing, and planning.
• Lead solution architecture, implementation, and transition to steady-state operations.
• Partner with project managers, technical resources, and business stakeholders to ensure requirements are clear, dependencies defined, and solutions tested.
• Act as technical lead for end-to-end project delivery.
• Support workplace services operations, including escalations and steady-state management.
• Design, architect, and implement Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments.
• Configure and optimize Citrix components (Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, Gateway/NetScaler, Director, Workspace).
• Develop high-availability and disaster recovery solutions for Citrix infrastructure.
• Lead migration projects from legacy Citrix environments.
• Produce technical documentation and automation scripts to support operations.
