Position Overview

A client is seeking a visionary and execution-oriented Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead a startup through a comprehensive digital transformation journey. This is a pivotal executive role focused on modernizing the technology stack, enhancing customer experience through digital channels, ensuring robust cybersecurity, and enabling data-driven decision-making.

As CTO, you will work closely with the executive team to develop and implement a strategic technology roadmap aligned with the startup's growth goals and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the startup's technology strategy, with a focus on digital innovation, automation, and system modernization.
• Serve as a key member of the executive team, influencing corporate strategy through a technology lens.
• Lead change management initiatives to foster a digitally fluent culture within the firm.
• Oversee the development and deployment of digital banking platforms (mobile, online banking, APIs).
• Integrate and modernize core banking systems to support agility, compliance, and scalability.
• Evaluate and implement fintech partnerships and cloud-based solutions to improve efficiency and user experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (MBA or Master's preferred).
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive IT leadership experience, with at least 3-5 years at a senior/executive level in the financial services, fintech, or startup.
• Proven success leading digital transformation initiatives, preferably within regulated industries.
• Strong understanding of startup operations, cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance standards.
• Experience with cloud computing, APIs, mobile platforms, core systems, and data analytics.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
