Job summary

Coins is seeking a Chief Security Officer to lead and orchestrate enterprise-wide security strategy across cyber, physical, data, and regulatory domains. The role requires ownership of risk management, incident response, and security governance for trading, payment, and wallet systems.

You will guide a security team to protect digital assets, ensure regulatory compliance across markets, and collaborate with product and technology to embed security by design throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of information security and risk management experience.
• 5+ years of CSO or equivalent senior security management experience in compliant digital currency exchanges or fintech.
• Deep understanding of digital currency trading and payment business models and security pain points.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement the company's security strategy and governance.
• Lead cyber security, physical security, data security, and regulatory compliance efforts.
• Oversee SOC operations, threat monitoring, incident response, and crisis management.
• Ensure security across core systems including trading, payment, wallet, and data assets.
• Coordinate with product, technology, and operations to embed security in processes.
