Job summary

ELBURG SHIPMANAGEMENT PHILS., INC. seeks a Chief Officer-Transhipper Vessel to oversee navigation watch duties and vessel stability while managing cargo operations worldwide. The role requires readiness for deployment and handling bulk crane or self-unloading vessel operations.

As a senior officer, you will be responsible for cargo planning, loading/unloading, and stepping in for the Master when needed. International crewing experience is a plus, with an emphasis on safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Experience with bulk crane operations or self-unloading vessels is required.
• Knowledge of vessel navigation watch duties is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform vessel navigation watch duties.
• Ensure the ship remains stable at all times.
• Maintain cargo gears and supervise cargo transported on board.
• Oversee all cargo operations in port, including planning, loading and unloading.
• Act as executive officer and assume command if the Master is incapacitated.

Responsible for performing vessel navigation watch duties.

Ensure that the ship is stable at all times.

Maintaining cargo gears and cargo transported into the ship.

Overseeing all cargo operations in the port, such as cargo planning, loading and unloading.

The executive officer of the vessel and takes over in the event of incapacitation of the Master.
