Job summary

EPAM Systems in Mexico is seeking a Chief Full-Stack Developer with Java and GCP to lead architecture and delivery across commerce platforms.

You will guide teams, own backend services with Java/Spring Boot, and frontend components with ReactJS, while shaping scalable, secure solutions.

We require 7+ years of experience, 2+ years in leadership, cloud expertise (GCP/Azure), and strong English (B2+); US Pacific overlap is preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in software development.
• 2+ years in team leadership or management.
• Proficient in Java/Spring Boot and ReactJS.
• Strong REST API and microservices background.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP/Azure).
• Familiar with AI-assisted workflows and integrations.
• Willing to overlap with US Pacific Time and communicate in English (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services for commerce systems.
• Lead architecture decisions and guide technical direction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
