Qualifications

Job Description

Cavella Philippines is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to oversee the company’s accounting operations, financial reporting, tax compliance, and financial management. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge and experience in business and franchising operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the company’s day-to-day accounting operations

• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and accounting schedules

• Maintain accurate and complete general ledger and financial records

• Handle and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Perform bank, account, and balance sheet reconciliations

• Review journal entries, invoices, receipts, vouchers, and other financial documents

• Manage BIR tax filings, tax compliance, and other statutory requirements

• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing

• Prepare financial analysis, forecasts, and reports for management

• Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and financial planning

• Support accounting requirements related to franchising operations

• Coordinate with external auditors, BIR, banks, and other relevant parties when necessary

• Establish and maintain proper accounting controls and procedures

• Identify accounting issues and recommend appropriate solutions

• Maintain confidentiality and security of financial information

• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, food, FMCG, or franchising is an advantage
