Job summary

A prominent construction materials company located in Bulacan is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to conduct inspections, enforce safety protocols, and carry out maintenance activities. The position requires a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and at least 1 year of relevant experience. Board and lodging will be provided for candidates willing to work at the Bulacan plant.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year relevant work experience acquired from manufacturing-related industries.
• Must be willing to be assigned to the Bulacan plant (board and lodging provided).

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections on all equipment to prevent breakdowns.
• Perform basic inspections on all idle and running equipment, through a checklist.
• Report and ensure resolution of the equipment finding during PMS/SPS/OPS.
• Ensure timely completion of PMS/SPS/OPS activities to prevent delays.
• Analyze and review breakdown, conduct RCA, and ensure implementation of corrective action.
• Analyze equipment performance and suggest modifications for continuous process or operational improvement.
• Enforce all safety protocols and procedures (LOTOTO, PTW, JHRA).
• Conduct a safety toolbox and create the needed procedure or OPL to increase awareness.
• Implement regular/periodic maintenance of all dust collectors and bag houses.
• Conduct regular inventory audits with regard to filter bags and grinding media.
