Job summary

Staff Outsourcing Solutions seeks a skilled CAD drafter to support our US client in Cebu City. You will produce detailed 2D drawings from 3D models, annotate with dimensions, tolerances, materials and assembly notes, and assemble complete BOMs for each project.

Requirements include 1–2 years of drafting experience and 2+ years with Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks, plus strong reading of drawings and BOMs. Night shift runs 9 PM–6 AM Cebu time.

Qualifications

• Drafting standards, dimensioning and tolerancing knowledge.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Clear written and spoken English with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D drawings of parts, weldments, sheet metal and assemblies from 3D models.
• Add dimensions, tolerances, materials, finishes and assembly notes as directed by the design engineer.
• Build and maintain parts lists and bills of materials (BOMs), including vendor part numbers.
• Revise drawings, process Engineering Change Requests and keep files and revisions in order in Autodesk Vault.
• Prepare concept, panel, floor and shipping layouts, and compile a complete PDF print book for each project.
• Review drawings with the engineer before release and flag any drawing or design issues you find.
• Answer drawing questions from manufacturing, sales and customer service.
