Job summary

Adlift Electrical Engineering Services is seeking a skilled CCTV/security system technician to install, configure, and troubleshoot a range of surveillance and access control solutions. The role covers IP and analog cameras, DVRs/NVRs, PTZ cameras, video intercoms, and VMS integration.

Experience with structured cabling (Cat5e/6/6A, coax, fiber), fiber splicing, and network configuration (IP addresses, switches, PoE, VLANs) is required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair CCTV, network, and power-related issues.
• Configure remote viewing and network connectivity.
• Ensure proper camera positioning and image quality.
• Coordinate with clients regarding installation schedules and technical concerns.
• Follow company safety procedures and standards during installation and maintenance work.
• Install, configure, commission, test, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV surveillance systems, including IP and analog cameras, DVRs, NVRs, PTZ cameras, video intercoms, and video management software.
• Install, configure, and maintain access control systems.
• Install, terminate, label, test, and troubleshoot structured cabling systems, including Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, coaxial, and fiber optic cabling.
• Perform fiber optic cable splicing, termination, testing, and troubleshooting using appropriate tools and testing equipment.
• Install cable trays, conduits, raceways, patch panels, equipment racks, cabinets, and cable management systems.
• Configure IP addresses, switches, routers, PoE devices, VLANs, wireless connectivity, and remote access for integrated security systems.
