About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for Category Specialist. This role will be based in 6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines.

The position serves as a subject matter expert in pre-award contracting and post-award contract management, providing guidance on contracting risk, commercial terms, negotiations, compensation models, supplier due diligence, and contract administration.

Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating contracts, developing and reviewing scopes of work, managing supplier communications, supporting sourcing events, administering contracts, and driving documented savings through effective commercial negotiations.

Success in this role requires strong analytical and strategic thinking, excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, deep contracting expertise, proficiency in digital procurement platforms (e.g., Smart by GEP, Ariba, SAP), and the ability to mentor less experienced contracting professionals while continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes and leverage technology.
