Job description
Responsibilities
  • Managing the entire Non-Risk (Sports & Footwear) P&L in Zalora Philippines
  • Responsible for category profitability results, and is a driver of marketing investments: ZAP income, rebates, option to return, and other revenue coming from local suppliers
  • Collaborates with and supports other Commercial Category Managers/Heads in identifying opportunities to ensure that suppliers are successfully represented across all product
  • Collaborates with the Commercial Head/Director to set the strategic direction and OKRs for Non-Risk and to achieve the target KPIs defined by senior management
  • Collaborates with marketing in the execution of revenue generating initiatives with sellers in line with targets (e.g., ZAP, Co-fund, Sponsored Ads)
  • Collaborates with the Category Managers and Planners to set NMV forecasts per category seasonally, including any reforecasts
  • Reviews and signs off on product/brand reviews, SWOTs, and lessons learnt to showcase ownership and understanding of the area
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, or related fields.
  • 5-6 years’ experience in business development, category and/or account management, e-commerce, or retail; exposure to the footwear or sport industry preferred.
  • Proven track record in negotiation (promotions, investment, contracts), JBP ownership/support, and revenue-driving campaign execution is a must.
  • Excellent command of English
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets preferred; strong with data analysis and insights storytelling.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills; strong stakeholder management and influence.
  • Exceptional time management, attention to detail, high ownership, and problem-solving skills (able to identify root causes via data and propose practical solutions).
  • Willingness to work in a multicultural environment; team player with a coaching mindset
  • Amenable to report to MCX office in a hybrid work setup
