Job summary

NUSTAR Resort in the Philippines seeks a Finance Manager to oversee casino accounting, ensure accurate financial records, and maintain regulatory compliance across audits and reporting. You will lead the accounting team and provide strategic financial insights to executives.

The role requires 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, familiarity with GAAP/IFRS, and a strong background in financial planning and analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• CPA and CMA certifications are advantageous.
• 3–5 years progressive experience in accounting or financial management.
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Supervisory or management experience.
• Familiarity with GAAP/IFRS.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting functions within the casino, including financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and audits; oversee the accounting team and ensure accuracy of records.
• Contribute to strategic financial planning and provide insights and reports to executive leadership.
• Supervise Casino Accounting group and ensure timely recording of revenues, expenses, assets and liabilities.
• Ensure integrity of financial reports and GAAP/compliance with company policies.
• Monitor and resolve issues related to financial compliance and reporting; assist audits and reviews.
• Maintain and improve accounting systems and processes for accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and gaming financial reports for management decisions.
