Description du poste

The Cashiering Supervisor is responsible for overseeing cashiering operations, cash management, financial controls, and customer service delivery within the store. Leveraging a strong understanding of cashiering administration, POS operations, and internal controls, this role ensures the accuracy and integrity of all cashiering transactions, collections, deposits, and reports. The Cashiering Supervisor leads and develops the cashiering team, maintains compliance with company policies and audit requirements, mitigates financial and operational risks, and supports a seamless customer checkout experience while safeguarding company assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Cashiering Operations and Financial Controls Oversee daily cashiering activities, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of sales transactions, cash collections, deposits, revolving funds, petty cash, gift certificates, and financial reports while maintaining strong cash control practices.
• Lead and Develop the Cashiering Team Supervise, coach, and develop cashiers to ensure high levels of accuracy, productivity, compliance, and customer service. Monitor performance, conduct evaluations, and implement training and development initiatives.
• Deliver Exceptional Customer Service Ensure a fast, efficient, and customer-friendly checkout experience by addressing transaction-related inquiries and concerns, resolving escalated issues, and promoting service excellence across all cashiering touchpoints.
• Ensure Compliance, Audit Readiness, and Risk Management Enforce adherence to cashiering procedures, internal controls, audit requirements, and company policies. Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to cash handling, fraud, theft, and operational irregularities.
• Maintain Operational Efficiency and Administrative Support Ensure cashiering facilities, POS systems, and equipment are fully functional and properly maintained while supporting billing, payment processing, reporting requirements, and overall store operational effectiveness.
