Job summary

Toys"R"Us Philippines is looking for a customer-focused cashier to handle transactions, assist shoppers, and resolve inquiries in a busy retail setting.

You will ensure accurate cash handling, process payments (cash and other forms), apply discounts, obtain credit approvals for sales, and remit cash to the Cashier Supervisor-Administration while tallying with POS readings. Attention to detail and prompt service are essential to maintain smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Attends to customer inquiries and complaints for immediate action and solution.
• Ensures correct payments of customers either cash or other acceptable forms of payment
• Processes transaction based on the mode of payment by the customer.
• Ensures that cash collections are remitted to the Cashier Supervisor-Administration and tallies with POS readings.
• Ensures discounted items are punched-in properly based on the percentage; discounts and promotions.
• Obtains accurately credit approval for credit sales
