Job summary

Forest Lake Development, Inc. in General Santos City, Philippines, is seeking a full-time Finance Payments Officer responsible for handling cash and check payments from lot buyers and collectors. You will validate documents, monitor payments, and maintain custody of funds and records.

The role requires a finance degree, at least 2 years' experience, and proficiency in MS Office. You will work on daily reconciliations, reports, and ensure integrity of financial transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accountancy, banking or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field.
• Computer literate (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Customer service oriented, highly attentive to details, trustworthy and organized.

Responsibilities

• Process cash and/or check payments received from lot buyers and payments turned-in by collectors.
• Validates ORs issued by collectors against cash remittance.
• Monitors check payment for bank clearing daily.
• Prepares Daily, Weekly and Monthly Cash Receipt Journal.
• Custodianship of Petty Cash Fund (10,000) and post-dated checks.
• Releasing of checks payable to suppliers, agents, sellers, etc. – daily.
• Prepares turn-in report for office collections.
• Reconciles and consolidate daily total collections vs. turn-in reports.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the superior.
