Job summary

BDO Unibank, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support the branch in control and compliance functions in line with bank standards and requirements.

The role includes batching and balancing reports, vouching transactions, processing outward checks, and reviewing GL entries as needed. Qualified applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree related to accounting with at least 18 accounting units and be willing to work onsite in Tagaytay, Cavite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job with at least 18 accounting units
• Experience in branch banking accounting operations and GL reconciliation is an advantage; fresh graduates welcome
• Strong problem solving, numerical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in computer and business applications

Responsibilities

• Batching and balancing of reports against posting media and source documents
• Support vouching of CASA, TD, GL tickets, and other transaction slips
• Prepare and maintain processing of outward checks, passing of work with GL entries and review GL reports as needed
• Ensure compliance with Banks policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
