Job summary

Innodata Knowledge Services Inc. is seeking a Cartography & Survey Specialist to join our remote team. You will work with geospatial data, maps, and surveying content from home on technology-driven projects.

The ideal candidate holds an M.Sc./M.Tech in Geomatics, Geology, Surveying, or Hydrography, has 3+ years of experience, and can interpret complex maps and geospatial information with strong attention to detail. USGS/NOAA background is a plus.

Qualifications

• M.Sc./M.Tech in Geomatics, Geology, Surveying, Hydrography or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience working with map and survey products such as USGS/NOAA.
• Strong understanding of cartography, surveying, geospatial data and geographic concepts.
• Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret and evaluate complex maps, charts and geospatial information.

Responsibilities

• Work with specialized geospatial and mapping content including topographic & geologic maps, photogrammetry and professional map products.
• Interpret and evaluate geospatial data to support project delivery.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure accuracy and quality of survey outputs.
