Job summary

You will identify calibration needs, perform scheduled calibrations, troubleshoot breakdowns, and implement corrective and preventive maintenance while keeping accurate records and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Requires technical certification or diploma and related maintenance/calibration training.
• Familiarity with calibration procedures for inspection, measurement, and testing equipment.
• Experience in analyzing and troubleshooting industrial motor control systems.
• Knowledge of SPC principles and their application in production.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts and overtime as required.

About the role

Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing factory equipment, machinery, and utility systems to ensure efficient and uninterrupted operations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify all inspection, measuring, and testing equipment that require calibration to ensure accuracy and reliability at all times
• Perform calibration and adjustment of equipment according to the established schedule and standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment breakdowns or malfunctions in accordance with required specifications and troubleshooting procedures outlined in the Equipment Operations Manual
• Conduct corrective and preventive maintenance activities on machines based on the approved preventive maintenance schedule
• Maintain accurate records of calibration, maintenance, and repair activities
• Ensure all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards
• Coordinate with concerned departments regarding equipment issues and recommend necessary corrective actions

About you

• Graduate of a three (3)-year technical course or with at least three (3) years of relevant work experience in a related position
• Must have completed technical training or seminars on equipment calibration
• Knowledgeable in calibration procedures for inspection, measuring, and testing equipment
• Capable of analyzing and troubleshooting industrial motor control systems
• Familiar with Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles and applications
• Willing to work on a rotational shifting schedule and render overtime when required
