Job summary

W Bridges Manpower Corporation is seeking a dedicated Pastry/Bakery Helper to join our Makati production team. The role focuses on preparing and baking a variety of pastries and breads, maintaining quality, and ensuring efficient daily production.

Candidates should have a high school background with baking experience or training, be detail oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Shift work, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate; vocational baking training is a plus.
• Experience baking pastries, cakes, bread, or similar.
• Knowledge of baking techniques and recipe preparation.
• Familiarity with ovens, mixers and baking equipment.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and committed to quality.
• Able to work fast-paced kitchen or production setting.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Willing to work shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays if needed.
• Able to work independently or with a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake pastries, cakes, cookies, breads, tarts, and other baked products.
• Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes and production requirements.
• Operate and maintain baking equipment, ovens, mixers, and other kitchen tools.
• Decorate and finish pastries according to established standards.
• Ensure the quality, freshness, taste, and appearance of all baked products.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the baking area and equipment.
• Monitor ingredient inventory and report low stocks or shortages.
• Follow proper food handling, hygiene, and safety procedures.
• Assist in preparing daily production requirements and meeting deadlines.
