Job summary

WSP in Manila is seeking a Senior CAD/BIM Lead to direct a small‑to‑mid sized team responsible for producing engineering drawings and BIM models for underground infrastructure projects. You will develop standards, supervise deliverables, and drive efficiency across multiple projects.

The role requires advanced Revit and AutoCAD skills, 10+ years in CAD/BIM, and strong leadership and stakeholder management within multidisciplinary settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years experience in CAD/BIM delivery within engineering consultancy, infrastructure, transportation, or underground construction sectors.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Proven experience managing or supervising a small to medium-sized technical team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor a CAD/BIM team (5-20 staff).
• Plan, allocate, and monitor drafting resources across multiple projects.
• Develop and maintain CAD/BIM standards, procedures, and QA processes.
• Provide technical leadership in drawings, BIM models, and digital deliverables.
• Support underground infrastructure projects, mined tunnels, and related structures.
• Coordinate with engineers, PMs, design managers, and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
• Review and approve CAD/BIM deliverables for compliance with standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and efficiency.
• Manage software deployment, training, and support for AutoCAD, Revit, etc.
• Support recruitment, performance development, and growth of team members.
• Foster collaborative culture and high technical standards.

Responsibilities

Main Activities and Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)

• Lead, manage, and mentor a small to medium-sized CAD/BIM team (typically 5-20 staff).
• Plan, allocate, and monitor drafting and modelling resources across multiple projects.
• Develop, implement, and maintain CAD and BIM standards, procedures, and quality assurance processes.
• Provide technical leadership in the production of engineering drawings, BIM models, and digital deliverables.
• Support the delivery of complex underground infrastructure projects, particularly mined tunnels and associated underground structures.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, design managers, and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.
• Review and approve CAD and BIM deliverables to ensure compliance with project requirements and company standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and increased efficiency within the digital delivery team.
• Manage software deployment, training, and technical support related to AutoCAD, Revit, and associated engineering design platforms.
• Support recruitment, performance development, and professional growth of team members.
• Foster a collaborative and positive team culture while maintaining high technical standards

Others (desirable)

• International project experience working with global engineering or construction teams.
• Experience with major tunnel, rail, metro, highway, or underground infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of BIM execution planning, common data environments (CDE), and digital engineering frameworks.
• Experience with Civil 3D, Navisworks, ProjectWise, Bentley applications, or similar digital delivery platforms.
• Professional engineering registration or membership of a recognised professional institution.
• Experience working within international design standards and multi-office project environments.

Qualifications

Qualifications (Minimum and desirable)

• Graduate of any technical course or at least three (3) years in BS Engineering or BS Architecture course
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related technical discipline. (preferred)
• Minimum 10 years experience in CAD/BIM delivery within engineering consultancy, infrastructure, transportation, or underground construction sectors.
• Demonstrated experience in mined tunnel projects, underground structures, or major transportation infrastructure projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Proven experience managing or supervising a small to medium-sized technical team.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawing production, BIM workflows, model management, and digital project delivery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
