Job summary

Recruitify_HR is seeking a Mold Design Engineer in the Philippines, Batangas/Lipa area. The role focuses on 3D modeling for plastic injection molds, ECO management, and tooling concepts. You will collaborate with production teams to optimize designs and reduce costs.

The ideal candidate has experience with NX CAD, mold drawings, and a six-day work schedule. The position offers HMO, shuttle and meal subsidy, and opportunities in a mold maker environment.

Qualifications

• Experience creating 3D mold models and detailed assembly drawings.
• Proven ECO management to meet project requirements.
• Ability to propose design improvements to reduce costs and cycle times.
• Lead initial mold concepts including gating, cooling, and ejection.

Responsibilities

Job description

• 3D Modeling: Expert ability to create complex 3D models and detailed assembly drawings for plastic injection molds.
• Design Revisions: Proven track record in managing Engineering Change Orders (ECO) efficiently to meet evolving project requirements.
• Process Improvement: Strong analytical skills to propose design improvements that optimize cycle times and reduce manufacturing costs.
• New Tooling Concepts: Capable of leading initial mold conceptualization, including gate placement, cooling systems, and ejection mechanisms for new mold projects.

Priority points that interviewers look at

• Experience of working with the NX CAD System
• Experience in making drawings (only in the mold field)
• Has own car or motorbike (For overtime work when they have any trouble)
• No experience working at a company with a union organization

Preferable Requirements

• Experience working in a mold maker company

Education: College Graduate in any Engineering course
