Job summary

Madamba Builders & Trading Corp. is seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to prepare and update technical drawings using AutoCAD and related software in a fast-paced construction environment.

You will develop layouts, shop drawings, and as-built plans, interpret engineering specifications, and ensure accuracy and adherence to drafting standards while coordinating with engineers and project teams to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology major in Drafting Technology required.
• Extensive hands-on CAD drafting and technical drawing experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other drafting software.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Knowledge of drafting standards, dimensioning, scaling, and drawing revisions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with other CAD or design software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, revise, and update technical drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant CAD software.
• Develop detailed engineering drawings, layouts, shop drawings, and as-built plans as required.
• Interpret sketches, technical specifications, and engineering instructions.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements and drafting standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, and project personnel regarding drawing revisions and technical details.
• Review drawings for errors, inconsistencies, and missing information.
• Maintain organized drawing files, documentation, and revision records.
• Complete assigned drawings within established project deadlines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
