Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a CAD CAM Mechanical Engineering Technician to develop CNC programs onsite at Mall of Asia, Pasay City, on the night shift. The role combines programming, drafting, and collaboration with engineering and production teams to drive manufacturability improvements.

You will create CNC programs, troubleshoot issues, and maintain drawings and fabrication plans while applying SolidWorks and CAM software expertise to support manufacturing of steel and aluminum parts.

Qualifications

• BS Mechanical Engineering or mechanical background.
• Master CAD/CAM software parameters.
• CAM experience in laser cutting manufacturing.
• 3D modeling/2D drawing skills.
• SolidWorks experience.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Press bending experience is a plus.
• Autocad experience is an asset.
• At least 3 years in manufacturing with steel/aluminum.

Responsibilities

• Create CNC cutting programs using CAD/CAM software.
• Troubleshoot programming issues raised by production.
• Keep program and cutting list current.
• Improve programming processes with feedback from production.
• Propose design changes based on manufacturing capabilities.
• Support engineering/methods with manufacturability input.
• Coordinate with engineering, methods and production teams.
• Update and revise products per engineering changes.
• Execute 3D modeling and 2D drawings.
• Prepare fabrication drawings for the workshop.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Create CNC cutting programs using CAD/CAM software.

• Execute 3D modeling and 2D drawings.
• Prepare fabrication drawings for our workshop.

Qualifications

• Describe the qualifications the staff must have in terms of skills and capabilities
• BS Mechanical Engineering or mechanical background.
• Master the CAD/CAM software parameters.
• Laser cutting computer assistance manufacturing (CAM) experience.
• 3D Modeling / 2D Drawing.
• Relevant experience in SolidWorks.
• Microsoft Office.
• Press bending experience (an asset).
• Autocad (an asset).
• The candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing process, and mechanical experience related to steel and aluminum.
