Job summary

TECHNIDATA, a subsidiary of the TSS CSI group, is recruiting a Software Development Engineer (C#.NET) to join our Manila R&D team. You will participate in all lifecycle stages, from research to defect correction, ensuring quality and budget adherence.

You will implement OO solutions, apply design patterns, and collaborate with local and offshore colleagues. A BS in CS/Engineering and strong C#, .NET, SQL skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Expertise in C#, .Net framework, and OOP, with respect to clean code principles
• Experience in desktop or web application development in Windows platform
• Knowledge of design patterns is an advantage.
• Exposure to WPF, EF, SQL, WCF, NuGet, Web API, NServiceBus, Rabbit MQ, and PowerShell
• MS SQL Server and Oracle databases
• Minimum 2 years work experience in above technical skill requirements
• With good oral and written communication skills in both technical and non-technical context

Responsibilities

• Report to a Project Manager and belong to a local and international R&D team.
• Act throughout the life cycle of software development: research, analysis, design, coding, tests, and defect corrections in compliance with quality and budget commitments.
• Implement programming in object-oriented language with respect to clean code principles, apply design patterns, and propose enhancements to the relational database schema.
• Define software solutions and evaluate the software development costs.
• Bring out creative problem-solving ideas.
• Collaborate effectively with local and offshore colleagues.

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Mathematics, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Expertise in C#, .Net framework, and OOP, with respect to clean code principles
• Experience in desktop or web application development in Windows platform
• Knowledge of design patterns is an advantage.
• Optional exposures to any of the following is a plus:
• Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Entity Framework (EF), Structured Query Language (SQL), Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), NuGet, Web API, NServiceBus, Rabbit MQ, and PowerShell
• MS SQL Server and Oracle databases
• C++ or C++/CLI
• Minimum 2 years work experience in above technical skill requirements
• Highly independent requiring minimal supervision and direction
• With good oral and written communication skills in both technical and non-technical context
