Job summary

MicroSourcing seeks a C++ Browser Engineer to join our onsite team in Eastwood, Quezon City. You will modify Chromium code to enable a secure remote browser and work with engineers to enhance remoting capabilities and display performance.

Expect a focus on clean C++ coding, debugging, and testing within an Agile framework. You will troubleshoot complex issues, contribute to browser tech, and grow expertise in cutting-edge browser and cloud security technologies.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience developing C++ applications on Linux.
• Proficiency in modern C++ (C++11+) and object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Hands-on experience with Linux development tools: Git, GDB, GCC/Clang.
• Experience with Linux shell scripting using Python or Bash.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with experience using unit testing frameworks such as GoogleTest.

Responsibilities

• Modify and enhance Chromium code to support a secure remote browser solution.
• Collaborate with software engineers to improve browser remoting capabilities and display performance.
• Develop, debug, test, and maintain high-quality C++ code following clean coding principles and software engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues, investigate bug reports, and implement effective resolutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of browser technologies within an Agile environment.
