First Sumiden Circuits, Inc. (FSCI) is the only full-capability flexible printed circuits manufacturing company in the Philippines. FSCI started as a joint venture among Sumitomo Electric Industries, Inc. (SEI, with 51%), First Philippine Holdings Corporation (FPHC, with 40%), and Sumitomo Corporation (SC, with 9%). Located at the Light Industry and Science Park (LISP) in Cabuyao, Laguna, FSCI began operations in September 1996. As of December 16, 2011, FSCI became 100% owned by SEI, a Japanese company.

Job Description
  • Examine departmental purchase requisitions for completeness and accuracy of the information provided necessary for the buying process.
  • Process all PRs to POs in a timely manner and provide copies to vendors via fax and email. Obtain order confirmation/acceptance from vendors.
  • Order materials, spare parts, goods, supplies, and services from the appropriate sources after securing competitive prices.
  • Determine potential suppliers based on company requirements and specifications provided by the requisitioning group.
  • Recommend substitutes for available or unavailable materials and supplies, and source the best suppliers to develop long-term business partnerships.
  • Act as liaison between vendors and internal users, gathering technical details, market conditions, and innovations related to purchased items. Coordinate after-sales activities as necessary.
  • Send bid invitations or requests for proposals, receive and analyze bids, quotes, and proposals, and award contracts to reliable bidders offering the lowest price in accordance with procurement specifications.
  • Forward shipping documents (e.g., Bill of Lading, AWB, Invoice, Packing List) for processing and customs clearance.
  • Negotiate prices, lead times, payment currencies, and terms advantageous to the company without unfairly disadvantaging suppliers.
