Job summary

Optum, a UnitedHealth Group Company, is seeking Business Writers in the Philippines to create and maintain clear, accurate training documentation for New Hire materials and SOPs. You will collaborate with SMEs to pull content from scratch and produce facilitator guides, participant guides, and CPDs.

You will document system updates, process changes, and operational procedures to help customer service teams work efficiently and consistently, with a focus on accuracy and clarity.

Qualifications

• 12+ months of experience in content writing for New Hire Training materials such as Facilitation Guides, Participant Guides, Job Aids and SOPs.
• Experience working with SMEs in a corporate setting, including leading discussions, applying probing skills, and developing content from scratch.
• Willing to work on a project-based engagement for up to 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain: Work instructions, job aids, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Develop process workflows for Customer Service Operations.
• Document system and capability changes affecting ORx systems.
• Update documentation to reflect business process changes.
• Develop written communications as needed for internal teams.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, clear, and easy to follow.
• Comply with employment contracts, company policies, and directives related to work locations, shifts, and flexible arrangements.

We are looking for Business Writers to create and maintain clear, accurate business documentation.

In this role, you will document system updates, process changes, and operational procedures to help customer service teams work efficiently and consistently.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain:
  • Work instructions, job aids, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Process workflows for Customer Service Operations
  • Client Procedure Documents (CPDs)
  • Carrier, Account, and Group (CAG) alerts for clients
• Document system and capability changes affecting ORx systems
• Update documentation to reflect business process changes
• Develop written communications as needed for internal teams
• Ensure documentation is accurate, clear, and easy to follow
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
