A leading company in the retail sector is seeking a Business Transformational Lead to drive strategic initiatives and oversee process optimization across its operations. This role requires strong knowledge of business processes and change management, alongside significant experience in leading transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will establish a knowledge hub and develop sophisticated operational models to optimize efficiency and performance.
The Business Transformational Lead is responsible for reviewing current processes and implementing continuous improvement, process simplification, and standardization across the Operations Team. This role focuses on creating a culture of quality and learning, ensuring that each department operates at its optimal level while setting world-class standards to support the company's growth.
The role of the Business Transformation Lead is to oversee and drive strategic initiatives aimed at transforming the organization. This role develops and implements transformation plans, facilitates change management, measures and reports on progress, and collaborates with cross-functional teams.
Principal Accountabilities
· Establish the Business Transformation COE as a central hub for knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous improvement.
· Collaborate with Human Resources (HR) and Department Heads to integrate learning initiatives with performance management processes.
· Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive Standard Operating Program (SOP) aligned with the business strategy.
· Support the development and implementation of a fully aligned KPI framework across the organization, from corporate targets to individual and partner targets—shifting from many to few items to drive the company's objectives with aligned rewards and recognition schemes.
· Identify new measures relevant to the business, such as inventory turnover, average revenue per unit, and on-shelf availability, to drive financial goals.
· Analyze current business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend solutions for optimization.
· Drive the adoption of new technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
· Develop and implement change management strategies to support successful transformation initiatives.
· Monitor and measure the progress and impact of initiatives, providing regular updates and reports to stakeholders.
· Build from scratch a learning playbook to document and roll out the new Operational Model in Operations, including paper and video materials for information dissemination.
· Create a playbook and facilitate a strategic internal learning plan.
Qualifications
Educational Requirement:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
Working Experience:
· At least ten (10) years of experience in business transformation or a relevant field.
Knowledge and Abilities:
· Experience in establishing, implementing, and scaling business processes in the retail industry.
· Strong knowledge of business processes, change management methodologies, and project management principles.
· Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing business transformation initiatives.
· Experience in managing a team and budget.
