Description:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (Main outputs or tasks which are carried out)

Overall:

  • Gain a deep understanding of fleet, e-Fuel systems, and related cards business applications, including their capabilities, strengths, weaknesses, and the vendor landscape. Understand the cards business priorities in relation to Petron's overall objectives. Comprehend the objectives, strategies, processes, and organizational structure of the cards business group and retail sales. Understand customer experiences with cards business systems at service stations.
  • Formulate an ideal suite of solutions based on current state and best practices. Communicate IT's perspective to the business regarding issues, challenges, and opportunities related to the systems in scope.
  • Coordinate with business representatives to align the IT roadmap with division/department priorities.
  • Translate the roadmap into a service design, including IT projects, program changes, service requests, and incident requests. Collaborate with the business to define metrics and SLAs.
  • Review and improve the suite of applications under responsibility to enhance services to Petron, its dealers, and customers.
  • Understand the functional and technical features of the business applications in scope.

IT Service Delivery:

  • Ensure timely and quality delivery of service and incident requests, managing IT service delivery to end customers, dealers, and business partners. Use structured problem-solving techniques for system incidents and promote continuous improvement for recurring issues.
  • Oversee the delivery of system change requests and projects, applying project management and SDLC principles to minimize risks and incidents.
  • Work closely with IT security to ensure system security and compliance with policies. Address vulnerabilities and control weaknesses.
  • Apply quality, testing, and validation strategies to minimize defects, adhering to controlled IT processes.

Administrative:

  • Identify resource needs for business systems services, including staffing and vendors.
  • Manage vendor contracts, bills, and relationships with business counterparts.
  • Oversee staff augmentation and vendor performance, ensuring results and resource management.
  • Provide clear and timely reports on status, progress, and issues.
  • Prioritize tasks and maintain organized execution of responsibilities.
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned by the Retail Systems Solution Manager.
