As a Business Process Associate within the Reconciliation group, you will provide support on a variety of initiatives by analyzing existing processes, identifying process gaps, identifying areas for improvement, and developing the appropriate controls for each. You will support business partner deliverables, including documenting business requirements, providing testing support, documenting quality standards, and demonstrating adherence to established procedures while demonstrating an in-depth working knowledge of the entire process. You will be part of the Reconciliation Utility and will manage product change, onboarding and partnering with tech for automation for the functions in a 24 X 5 environment, supporting Asia, EMEA and WHEM regions. You will be responsible for understanding the key metrics and risk components.

Job responsibilities:
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and projects within Reconciliation
  • Develop an environment of continuous focus on quantifiable productivity and quality. Constant and regular review of processes and performance with focus on improving departmental competency / performance rating.
  • Conduct regular reviews of procedures assuring new processes are documented.
  • Interact with global location managers in an effective and professional manner.
  • Work closely with Business/Stakeholder and tech teams on projects deliveries, solution, and design.
  • Foster and champion High-Performance Culture where people are empowered to make decisions that affect their work/environment.
  • Identify department strategy and goals related to broader organizational goals and direction.
  • Lead, manage and work directly with senior managers to identify technology, resource and/or process needs. Identifies opportunities for improvements in the process and recommends solutions.
  • Develop and lead a team that is responsive to dynamic organizational and operational changes including setting expectations with direct reports, regarding positive motivation and leading through accountability.
  • Ensure training is taking place and that it is within budget.
  • Responsible for risk management to the business.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
  • Graduate with Minimum of 8 years of work experience in a financial institution.
  • Working knowledge of various aspects of Reconciliations, Cash and Stock products
  • SWIFTS/ISO framework knowledge
  • Strong Interpersonal skills to be able to communicate internally & externally and at all levels.
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills in English.
  • Proven ability to build strong business relationships within the site and across the business.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow through. Escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Ability to use creative problem-solving techniques to solve business issues.
  • An acute client focus.
  • Experience of working / partnering with Risk, Audit and Compliance to ensure that the overall organizational objectives are met.
  • Content writing, ability to create high end Power point slides etc
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
  • Prior experience in client & third party bank investigations will be an added advantage.
  • Data Science and Data Analytics experience with MIS and Reporting Strategies. Coding on JAVA (Basic)and knowledge of different automation software like Alteryx, UIpath, AI/ML Initiative Etc and AWS
  • Strong Project management, Reporting and analytical skills.
  • Project Management/ Implementation experience would be a plus.
