Overview

The Role: Digital Energy (DE) Business Offer Manager

As the Digital Energy (DE) Business Offer Manager, your mission is to drive growth of the DE portfolio and services in the East Asia zone through the effective deployment of marketing 4P methodology. In this critical role, you will work with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the DE growth strategy, country organization, and go-to-market (GTM) are deployed effectively.

What will you do?
  • Performance Management: Responsible for the performance of DE offers (Orders, Sales, GM), including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Track and analyze business performance metrics, adjusting as needed.
  • Portfolio Management: Own the marketing 4P deployment and competency development in the zone and country teams and offers management (excellence in product lifecycle and offer launches).
  • Product: Boost products business by gaining a deep understanding of markets and strategically outperforming competitors. Achieve market share growth through tailored strategies for countries and hero offers.
  • System: Master solutions knowledge and manage stakeholders effectively. Simplify and optimize internal processes.
  • Services: Support Accelerate services and recurring revenues. Grow services with modernization and conversion of competitors’ installed base. Outpace core business growth.
  • Strategic Planning: Localize global strategy for the East Asia zone and implement the business strategy to achieve growth ambitions and objectives. Operationalize strategy with AMSP, annual operating plan, etc.
  • Impact with Marketing 4P: Operationalize all aspects of Marketing 4P in the DE business.
Product
  • Develop and manage the offers (product & services) portfolio, ensuring alignment with market needs and company goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and preferences.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to understand strengths, weaknesses, strategies, and market positioning, and develop actionable strategies (tailored UVP) to outperform competitors.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to create and enhance products to meet/exceed market demand.
Price
  • Develop and execute pricing strategies aligned with product marketing positioning and competition to gain, defend, penetrate market share while maximizing profitability.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to adjust strategies as needed.
  • Implement discount and promotional pricing models to drive sales.
Place
  • Deploy the 4P strategy to drive growth across all SE GTM channels (GD, PB, e-commerce, IAD, etc.), ensuring products are accessible to target markets.
  • Collaborate with cross-division teams to develop and manage relationships with distributors, retailers, and other partners.
  • Collaborate with the GSC and global teams to optimize logistics and supply chain processes, enhancing product availability and cost efficiency.
Promotion
  • Create and execute marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
  • Develop the marketing strategy and narrative to make an impact and drive demand for the tailored UVP to targeted end users.
  • Utilize promotional channels to drive demand generation including digital marketing (SEO/SEM, email marketing, paid advertising, social media, public relations) to advertise the tailored UVP of the product basket.
  • Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies to achieve marketing objectives.
  • Create and localize sales enablement tools, presentations, and collaterals to help the sales team effectively sell the product.
Product & Application Expertise
  • Provide product technical and application expertise to internal and external stakeholders.
Stakeholder Engagement and TEAMWORK
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, country teams, and regional/global teams.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (Electrical Engineering or Science an advantage)
  • Working Experience: Minimum 5 to 8 years’ experience in a marketing, sales management, services or business development capacity.
  • Others (language skills, technical skills):
  • Results-oriented and experienced in managing profit and loss, with proven business growth track records.
  • Experience in sales and knowledge of electro-intensive sectors (e.g., Power & Grid, Energies & Chemicals, Semiconductors, Data Centers, Buildings, Real Estate, Healthcare).
  • Experience in Power and/or building Management Systems, energy meters, protection relays, field devices, energy management, green building requirements.
  • Understanding of Schneider Electric ecosystem (customer personas, value chain, GTM is an advantage).
  • Curiosity and learning agility: staying up to date with market trends and new marketing technologies.
  • Experience in multi-tiered customer and channel approaches.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; teamwork mindset and stakeholder management.
  • Emotional intelligence; adaptability; decision-making with limited data; problem solving under pressure.
  • Time management and prioritization; ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and resilience in the face of rejection or failure.
