You will design data solutions, manage data integrations, and lead analytics projects to meet business requirements. The role emphasizes strong SQL, ETL, Python, and experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Redshift) and BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Quicksight).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of BI and analytics work, with team leadership experience.
• Graduate of Computer Science or similar IT/Data Science or programming courses.
• Experience with big data and data warehousing.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsible for the overall delivery of timely and accurate Business Intelligence and Analytics data in the best form and channel for AFPI users, external customers and stakeholders. This includes reports, charts, visual dashboards and advance analytics for web, desktop and mobile phones.

• Perform detailed data analysis to define new data capabilities for solutions.
• Design data solutions for data enhancements and capabilities.
• Develop and deliver reports and dashboard solution design for a business requirement.
• Capability to deliver technical results to stakeholders in a compressed time.
• Design, develop and manage the data integrations to support both real-time and batch processing.
• Establish and maintain the quality, supportability, and performance of all processes.
• Play an active role in quality assurance and user acceptance testing for data and solution initiatives by reviewing test plans, attending meetings, and providing necessary documentation.
• Lead multiple disciplinary projects using analytics, visualization, and data warehousing expertise, manage project schedules, identified risk, and communicated to the project owner.
• Lead junior resources on projects.
• Optimizing and redesigning existing data ingestion/workflow processes.
• Work closely with the internal and external clients
• Continue to look for innovative and next-generation solutions for solving data challenges.

Functional Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Framework modelling, Reports development, and any BI development tool.
• Designing solutions from business requirements, including data analysis.
• Advanced working knowledge of SQL and ETL development and analytics.
• Has a strong familiarity with big data technologies (Spark, Presto, Hive, Apache Drill, Apache Hadoop) preferably on AWS platforms (Redshift, Airflow).
• Demonstrated ability to build high-volume data ingestion and streaming pipelines (e.g., Kafka, AWS Kinesis, Spark Streaming)
• Familiarity with reporting/dashboarding platforms such as Quicksight, Tableau, Power BI, and R.
• Experience in building data lake/warehouse solutions consisting of structured and unstructured data.
• Excellent knowledge of Python and SQL.
• Expert level proficiency with industry-standard ELT tools such as ODI, Talend, or other (Topology, template-driven code generation, CDC, Metadata, and Web Services).
• Hands-on implementation experience with Data Warehousing including design, modeling, testing, security, administration, and optimization.

Education and Work Background

• Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in professional business intelligence and analytics work and handling team members
• Graduate of Computer Science or similar IT, Data Science or Programming Courses;
