Overview

Position Summary The role of the Business Development & Sales Officer (Ecosystem Cards & Retail) extends across many activities from lead generation, sales, project management, product management, to account management by building and forging strong professional and lasting client relationships in the Government Agencies and Institutions and Terminal Operations and vendor management including all post-sales activities in terms of after-sales requirements, card distribution, prefunding, technical alignment, internal coordination and general resolutions of issues and concerns. It is an important role in the overall Business Development and Sales process from start to finish. Responsible for the end-to-end process of Brand Activations, Account Partnerships, & OTA Integration. He/She effectively delivers and meets sales targets based on the assigned annual budget that positively and consistently contributes to the team target number for Ecosystem (Cards, Implementation, Solutions, New Business) for the year. He/She explores the market opportunities based on the assigned territory and drives sustainable financial growth through boosting sales growth in the area of oversight aligned with the business development goals, direction and strategies. Identify decision makers within the targeted leads and build pipeline and properly forecast deals to be closed won. He/She is able to work with the clients to develop mutually beneficial proposals, negotiate contract terms and communicate effectively with the stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Achievement of Sales/Revenue Targets
    • Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, potential clients, and partnerships.
    • Create and implement business development strategies to achieve growth targets and expand the company’s market presence.
    • Generate leads through various channels such as networking events, industry conferences, and online platforms.
    • Conduct presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
  1. Pipeline Creation and conversion
    • List all clients with potential business for AFPI
      • Provide all necessary contact information of the stakeholders and input it on the CRM
      • Touchbase with at least six (6) clients a day
      • Maintain a healthy pipeline of accounts and consistently add business prospects to the pipeline.
      • Converting the leads to closed account.
  1. Internal and External coordination with different departments
    • Commercial Team Alignment
      • Coordinating with Sales Admin for NTPs and other related documents needed for filing.
      • Works with the Marketing department for the marketing support needed by the client
      • Aligning with Transportation department for the requirements needed for Transportation
    • Alignment with the other internal department
      • Alignment with product dev team and Solutions dev team for a required solution of the client.
      • Coordinating requirements with procurement team for proper procurement of products and deliveries.
      • Aligning with finance for the dues, accounting requirement and client servicing.
  2. Monitoring and delivery of service
    • Making sure all deliverables to the client is accepted by the client
    • Making sure that all documents needed for bidding are complete
    • Account management and continued customer servicing
  3. Maintain a satisfactory rating from clients
    • Establishing new, and maintain existing, long-term relationships with Government Agencies and Institutions and Terminal Operations.
  4. General Business Development & Sales Tasks
    • Develops and executes Monthly Sales Plan and Strategies geared towards achieving assigned Sales Goals
    • Acquires signed Contracts, P.O and payment from clients through DAILY sales calls, sending of proposals, and emails
    • Generate revenue through successful deals from the following:
      • Co-branded Cards Partnerships
      • Cashless Implementations
      • Multifunction Cards /CANS Offering
      • Gates/Access Solution
      • New Business
    • Establishes Client Portfolio along with updated information through Customers Relations Management tool
    • Submits the Weekly Monitoring and Reporting of Actual Sales Performance VS Target.
    • Collaborates actively with the different Support Groups within the Organization on things which impacts the Business
    • Contributes to developing a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
    • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
    • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients by coordinating with Commercial’s Admin Assistant
    • Builds & forges long-term relationships with new and existing customers
    • Manage both our existing sales pipeline and the development of new business opportunities within the assigned areas of responsibilities
    • Take a lead role in developing new-business proposals and presentations that create and nurture opportunities and partnerships
    • Identify trends and customer needs, building a sales pipeline for short/medium/long term in accordance with targets within the assigned areas of responsibilities
    • Coordinates the implementation of the marketing strategies within the assigned areas of responsibilities to achieve strategic goals
    • Help monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers, and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss updates, feedback and action plans
    • Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select deals in line with strategies, and facilitate pitch logistics
    • Contributes to the development and implementation of the overarching business development and sales strategy, processes, structure, and best practices across the company
    • Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations
    • Ensures completion of the end-to-end business development and sales life cycle including post-sales activities with the clients and stakeholders
    • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned territory/accounts.
    • Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin sales process. Prepare quotations, proposals and presentations based on customers product and service requirements.
    • Maintain records utilizing SalesForce.com, Microsoft Office and the web.
    • Making presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet government agencies and Terminal operations need.
    • Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts internally.
    • Effectively adhere to and lead efforts to provide accurate forecasting.
    • Increase visibility and involvement by attending trade shows, conferences and bidding participation.
