About the Role
As the Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth and expansion in the retail supermarket industry. Reporting to the senior leadership, you will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on strategic opportunities to grow WalterMart across Luzon & Metro Manila. This is a full-time position based in Quezon City, Metro Manila.
What You'll Be Doing
Develop and implement innovative business development strategies to expand WalterMart's service offerings and client base
Identify and assess new market opportunities, partnerships and trends in the retail industry
Collaborate cross-functionally with the marketing, operations, merchandising and finance teams to support the growth of the organization
Analyze market data, industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision making
Champion a customer-centric approach and foster strong relationships with partners & stakeholders
What We're Looking For
Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or account management within the retail supermarket industry
Proven track record of successfully identifying, pitching and securing new business opportunities
Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills to engage with senior stakeholders
Strong commercial acumen and ability to analyze financial and market data
Experience in leading and motivating cross-functional teams to achieve business goals
Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
