Job Specifications

Preferable graduate of Business, Management, Marketing, and IT related courses; with 5 years’ work experience in a similar capacity, of which 2 years in an Account Specialist position; highly organized; can deal with all levels of the organization; self-driven; responsible and with good communication skills.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Organize and control account and product specialists to ensure they are appropriately motivated and trained to meet all sales targets and to ensure they carry out their responsibilities to the required standards.
  2. Generate sales for a portfolio of accounts to achieve annual sales targets.
  3. Identify new sales opportunities within the existing portfolio of accounts and identify new potential resellers to achieve and/or increase sales.
  4. Plan and secure approval of the annual marketing plan and acceptable annual sales targets, monitor the performance of account and product specialists and take remedial action where necessary to ensure sales targets are met.
  5. Monitor and control marketing funds provided by the principal to ensure that all activities are properly funded to achieve set objectives.
  6. Monitor the sales performance of competitors to ensure that the company maintains and develops its competitive advantage.
  7. Maintain regular contact with other departments to achieve the approved marketing plan and sales target.
  8. Provide the main source of expertise to the company on business development.
  9. Provide assistance in the risk assessment of new products and services.
  10. Performs other functions which may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.
