Job summary

iQor is seeking a Business Continuity Coordinator to safeguard operations across departments. You’ll design, implement, and monitor continuity strategies, coordinating risk assessments and business impact analyses to minimize disruption.

In this role you’ll lead training, test plans, and recovery exercises, working closely with IT and executive teams to ensure regulatory and client requirements are met while maintaining resilient, service-driven operations at our Philippines site.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain Certification in Business Continuity Management (e.g., CBCP) within 1 year from hire.
• Familiarity with BPO organizations and/or PMO type activities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
• Experience conducting training and awareness programs
• Self-directed and goal oriented
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to communicate with executive level leaders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain operational business continuity plans
• Conduct risk assessments and business impact analysis
• Coordinate with departments to ensure comprehensive business continuity strategies
• Regularly update and review business continuity policies and procedures
• Organize and conduct training sessions for staff on business continuity practices
• Test and evaluate the effectiveness of business continuity plans
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, client contractual requirements and industry best practices
• Facilitate communication during business disruptions and emergencies
• Lead the response and recovery efforts during actual incidents
• Document and report on continuity exercises and incidents
• Work closely with IT to ensure data backup and recovery processes are in place
• Maintain a database of critical business functions and contact information
