Job summary

Google Operations Center in Manila is seeking a Business Continuity Senior Associate to work with leaders in business operations, risk management, and security to ensure gTech can respond to business interruptions.

This role will develop resiliency plans, lead incident response efforts, and strengthen cross-functional collaboration across product, security, privacy and engineering while growing leadership and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years in Business Continuity, Operations, Risk Management, or Incident Management.
• Strong communication demonstrated on cross-functional projects with timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support resiliency planning: BIA, continuity and incident plans.
• Facilitate Business Resilience Plan testing with stakeholders.
• Act as communication lead; consolidate data and draft leadership reports.
• Monitor risk systems; triage interruptions; coordinate response.
• Lead during incidents; set priorities and update stakeholders.
• Partner with cross-functional teams across product, security, privacy, legal.

As a Business Continuity Senior Associate, you will work across the organization with leaders in business operations, risk management, and security to ensure that gTech is prepared & efficiently responds to any form of business interruption. This opportunity will allow you to grow your leadership, communication, and operational skill sets in a demanding and fast paced environment. Through diligent execution you will help ensure gTech can achieve its mission even during the most difficult of times while keeping the organization safe, secure and compliant.

Position Responsibilities

• Assist in the performance of resiliency planning processes including completing business impact analysis and drafting continuity and incident management plans.
• Facilitate Business Resilience Plan testing with business owners and key stakeholders.
• Act as a communication lead by fielding information requests using strong customer service skills, quickly consolidating data, and drafting clear reports for leadership
• Monitor risk systems for notifications or alerts, triage possible business interruptions, and coordinate effective response procedures.
• Lead and assist others during incident response with setting priorities, coordinating key personnel, and keeping stakeholders informed of progress
• Build relationships and partner with cross-functional stakeholders across product areas. and Security, Privacy, Legal, and Engineering.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience within the Business Continuity, Business Operations, Enterprise Risk Management, Workforce Management Security Operations, Disaster Recovery, or Incident Management spaces.
• Strong communication skills demonstrated with experience g on projects with groups of stakeholders to drive project outcomes by identified timelines

Preferred Qualifications

Having as many of these specific qualifications is a plus, but transferable skills/experiences may be equally valuable

• Ability to develop and/or support the development of continuity plans within business groups.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills that will thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional, global team environment.
• Ability to apply critical problem solving skills and propose solutions that optimize operational performance.
• 1 year of experience working in a security operations center, emergency operations center, or similar command center environment.
• ISO 22301 certification is a plus to have for this role.
