Job summary

Hellmann in the Philippines is seeking a Business System Analyst to implement IT solution projects for internal and external customers as part of the Regional IT&D Team.

The role covers requirement elicitation, system design, development, testing, and deployment, with an emphasis on Oracle DB, PL/SQL, Jasper Reports, and API integrations; English proficiency required; knowledge of logistics systems is an asset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant working experience.
• Oracle DB development including procedures, functions and tuning.
• Jasper Report development and data analysis experience.
• Knowledge of system integration with API/REST/JSON.
• Fluent in English; logistics domain experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and document customers' IT needs and create system requirement documents.
• Prepare conceptual designs for various systems and propose solutions.
• Implement systems, including testing, training, systems configuration and UAT coordination.
• Code on simple customized automation processes.

As a member of the Regional IT&D Team, the incumbent will be responsible for implementing IT solution projects for internal and external customers.

About Position

As a member of the Regional IT&D Team, the incumbent will be responsible for implementing IT solution projects for internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and establish customers' IT needs and processes and create system requirement documents.
• Prepare conceptual designs for various systems and propose solutions.
• Implement systems, including, testing, training, systems configuration and UAT coordination.
• Code on simple customized automation process
• Deploy ETL technique on sorts of data analytics and report writing.

• Able to quickly adopt new technologies and knowledge.
• Good written and spoken English. Cantonese and Mandarin Beneficial.

Educational & Work requirements

• 5 years or above relevant working experience
• Oracle database development including Oracle procedures, functions, packages, scheduler, and database tuning.
• PL-SQL, Linux Shell Script
• Jasper Report development
• Knowledge on system integration; familiar with API, REST & JSON, Webservice, XML, CSV messages.
• Proficient in SQL query and report writing using market prevailing tool
• Master level technique in Excel and Macro programming
• Skillful in using BI tools to achieve data analysis
• Knowledge on the following applications: Transport management system, Warehouse management system, Supply Chain system, eCommerce platform, mobile apps, is considered an asset
• Experience in system analysis, design and feasibility studies using formal methodologies.
• Knowledge of Java programming language Beneficial.
• Computer science degree is preferred but not essential (additional working experience required otherwise)
• Experience working in Logistics as a Business System Analyst or equivalent is considered an asset

• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Other languages (written and spoken) beneficial.
