OGIS Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Manager for Business Analytics and Data Management to lead analytics initiatives and drive strategic decisions.

You will oversee a BI and data management team, manage data integration, analysis, and interpretation, and promote data-driven decision making across the organization. The role entails developing and implementing BI strategies, data governance, and reporting solutions using QlikSense and other tools.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• 5–7 years relevant experience with at least 2–3 years of managerial experience.

The Manager for Business Analytics and Data Management is responsible to lead analytics and insights initiatives to drive strategic business decisions and improve operational efficiency. As Business Analytics Manager, he/she will be responsible to oversee the development and implementation of Business Analytics, Business Intelligence and Data Management processes, systems and tools to empower data-driven decision-making across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP

• 1. Develop and execute a comprehensive Business Analytics, Data Management & BI strategies aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives
• 2. Plan department strategy to deliver services to the organization
• 3. Lead and manage the team, providing training and performance management and evaluation.
• 4. Collaborate with the leaders of different departments to identify key business needs and data requirements, analyze trends and
• 5. Collaborate with IT, Finance, and other departments to ensure Business Analytics & Data Management solutions to meet the needs of the different Business units.
• 6. Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance data literacy and promote self-service analytics capabilities across the organization

DATA MANAGEMENT

• 1. Establish and implement standards and procedures on data management in adherence to a data governance policy
• 2. Work with data governance to exercise cross-functional decision making in addressing matters on data management
• 3. Ensure compliance to standards and procedures

DATA ANALYSIS AND INNOVATION & REPORTING

• 1. Assess company needs and gather relevant information.
• 2. Use data driven methods to advise and execute decisions for the organization.
• 4. Design and deliver insightful reports, highlighting key findings and trends
• 5. Create dashboards and visualizations to facilitate understanding and interpretation of complex data sets
• 6. Ensure reports and visualizations are tailored to the audience’s needs and support strategic initiatives

PROCESS IMPROVEMENTS

• 1. Identify opportunities to improve data collection processes and systems to enhance data quality and efficiency
• 2. Implement best practices for data governance and management
• 3. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in BI and data analytics

PROJECT PLANNING AND EXECUTION

• 1. Plan and execute projects to meet business goals
• 2. Manage prioritization of work that contributes to higher business value
• 3. Review and Sign Off Qliksense (KLS) related Business Requirement Documentation (BRD) for endorsement for approval of different stakeholders

COLLABORATION AND STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

• 1. Collaborate with project stakeholders to design and plan initiatives.
• 2. Drive community enablement with necessary tools, training, and understanding to create effective analytics, dashboards, reports, and metrics.
• 3. Develop, plan, and execute the education of data literacy

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• 1. Minimum Educational Qualifications
• - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any related field
• 2. Minimum Job Experience (Years of work experience and years of demonstrated management/ leadership experience for Supervisory and above positions)
• - Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience with at least 2-3 years of demonstrated managerial work leading a team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 1. Strong proficiency in Business Analytics, Business Intelligence and Data Management tools such as Qliksense and similar tools like Tableu, PowerBI, Crsytal Reports etc. and hands-on experience in data visualization and dashboard development
• 2. Proficiency is SQL and database management systems
• 3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
• 4. Strong leadership and team management abilities
• 5. Excellent communication and presentation skills
• 6. Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management principles
