Responsibilities

Business Analyst

Job Purpose

• The Business Analyst holds discussions with stakeholders to understand their requirements and their vision of the product. This is then translated into business requirements and communicated to the development team members to make them understand the expectations of the project.
• He/she should have a deep knowledge of the business domain, systems and capabilities related to the project being delivered.
• Responsible for working with the development team to ensure that the product backlog is well-groomed and contains user stories ready for development.
• Accountable for facilitating sprint planning and backlog refinement sessions, as well as helping to ensure that the development team clearly understands the user stories they are working on.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining any necessary documentation, such as requirements specifications and change logs.
• Helps the development team to get a better grasp of the project and where it fits within the organizational strategy.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.

EXPERIENCE

• At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Familiarity with database management systems and data analysis tools is an advantage
• Must have experience in Agile methodology
