Qualifications

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for building projects.
• Review architectural, structural, civil, and services drawings and specifications.
• Conduct quantity take-offs for labour, materials, plant, and equipment.
• Prepare tender documentation, pricing schedules, and subcontractor packages.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor project costs, cash flow, budgets, and forecast final construction costs.
• Assess progress claims, payment schedules, and subcontractor invoices.
• Identify, assess, and manage variations, extensions of scope, and additional costs.
• Prepare cost reports and provide regular financial updates to management.
• Assist with contract administration, procurement, and commercial negotiations.
• Maintain accurate records of project costs, commitments, and expenditure.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality, safety, or Australian/PNG compliance.
• Ensure compliance with relevant Australian/PNG building regulations, contractual obligations, and company procedures.
• Assist with final accounts, project close-out, and financial reconciliation.
